Neurological disorders account for a substantial proportion of cases facing veterinarians and are often difficult to diagnose. Animals may present with an enormously diverse range of clinical signs, from behavioural changes, incontinences, loss of sensation, or collapse through to blindness, seizures, paralysis or coma.
